Seymour

Seymour app helps people with fading eyesight. It makes reading significantly easier, it’s affordable, and easy to install and use in a smartphone. Seymour app converts the image from the phone’s camera to a two-colour contrast mode. This significantly increases the contrast between the text and background which helps weak-sighted users with reading and more.

As part of the Seymour team, I was in charge of presenting the project to the public. I also named the app (Seymour – pronounced “see more”). Then I invented and drew the chameleon Seymour which, like our app, changes its colours based on its needs. Seymour wears glasses because the app is intended to help people with vision problems.

App development is suspended but you can download the beta version.
